Morgan Seares is an independent consultancy, established in 2014.  Its purpose is clear and straightforward.   We are committed to developing ever stronger links in education and culture between the peoples of the United Kingdom and China.  Philip Morgan, its managing partner, has worked with China for over 15 years, including three years as First Secretary for Scottish Affairs within the British Embassy in Beijing.  Philip is committed to continuing his efforts as an independent consultant promoting a better understanding about the UK in China through delivering speeches and presentations in China. 

 

 " Since leaving the British Embassy in Beijing, I have been looking at ways in which I can continue working on strengthening links between Scotland and China, particularly in education.  However, there is only so much that can be done at a government to government level.  And there is so much more that can be done.  The real momentum comes from the people on the ground.  It is they who make lasting partnerships a reality.  our students, researchers, teachers and business.  These are the people who will be the focus of my efforts in the future."
