One of the main activities in a university student’s study programme will be attending lectures. In fact, most learning will start in the lecture theatre. Depending on background and experience this may be a very interesting experience or it may be quite a challenging one. It is therefore helpful to be aware of what is expected of students in lectures and seminars.
